A straightforward translation tool, free and without sign-up
Our Mission
Most free translation sites bury the actual tool under sign-up prompts, upsells, and feature clutter. TranslatePro does one thing: you pick two languages, type, and read the result. On top of that we add a small vocabulary notebook, because the people who use a translator most — language learners, exam candidates, and anyone working across borders — usually want to keep the words they looked up.

Translation As You Type
No translate button. Results arrive roughly half a second after you stop typing, and again whenever you change a language.
No Accounts, No Profiles
Your history and saved vocabulary are kept in your browser's local storage. We don't run user accounts or store your translations on our servers.
Free to Use
No subscription, no quota, no registration. The site is funded by advertising instead of by charging you.
How It Works
TranslatePro is a static website with no backend of its own. Everything happens in your browser, which then talks directly to a translation service:
- Translation is provided by the MyMemory API, which searches a large translation memory of human-translated segments before falling back to machine translation
- Requests are sent over HTTPS straight from your browser; we do not proxy or log them
- Pronunciation uses your browser's built-in speech synthesis, so no audio is sent anywhere
- History and saved vocabulary are written to your browser's local storage and can be exported as JSON or CSV
- Every page is pre-rendered to static HTML, which keeps the site fast and light
Our Commitment
We will keep the tool free and usable without an account, and we will keep saying plainly what happens to your data rather than hiding it. Two things are worth being explicit about:
- Text you translate is sent to a third-party provider that operates a public translation memory, so please don't enter sensitive personal information
- The site carries advertising, and our advertising partner may use cookies — you can opt out of personalised ads via the links in our Privacy Policy
Machine translation is a useful tool, not a substitute for a professional translator. For anything legal, medical, or official, please have a qualified human check the result. Suggestions and bug reports are welcome through the Contact page.
